We realize that with the new acquisition, new ownership and programs you'll have questions.
This page will be updated often in order to keep you informed with information about your purchases and the upcoming season.
Here are some questions that we feel will be common among our guests and passholders.
Big Snow Gift Cards
Q:Can I apply my gift card toward an Legendary Pass product?
A: Yes. We will use the credit paid for in the spring if you wish to upgrade to a Legendary Pass level. Any upgrade must be done in person or over the phone with a representative to properly ensure accuracy on accounts. Deadlines:
Q: Are there deadlines?
A: Yes. We have one deadline this season. November 29, 2022 is our pre-season deadline. All other products will be sold at in-season pricing after this date. Normally we'll have multiple deadlines that will be in the spring, fall, and prior to the ski season.
Family Passes:
Q: Is the Family Pass option specifically for parents and their children?
A: NEW. The parameters have changed this year. The Family Passes are designed for anyone under one roof. If you have four children and the parents are not going to ski, this pass product will be for you. Everyone needs to reside at the same address. Pre-purchased family pass-holders with our old age parameters will still be honored for this season.
Indy Pass:
Q: Will Snowriver be a member of the Indy Pass for the 23-24 season?
A: Yes! However, Indy Pass has not yet released their 23-24 pricing or what level of our pass will qualify. Please stay tuned. Indy Pass click here.
Under 6 & Over 80 products
Q: Ages are 6 - 79 what about kids under 6 and seniors over 80?
A: Parents of kids 5 & under can purchase lift tickets at any time for free which gives them lift access but no pass-holder benefits. Seniors 80 & over receive a free season pass as you’ve earned your turns! Please stop in at the ticketing area to sign a waiver and have your pass printed.
Lutsen Mountains & Granite Peak
Q: Will there be any new promotions or products with Granite Peak & Lutsen Mountains?
A: A season passes from Granit, Lusen or Snow River is now good for all resorts, no matter the level of pass. Food discounts and lodging are also included with your season pass at all resorts.
Protection Program:
Q: What is the Protection Program? How does it work?
A: $15 offers you assurances on your pass should you get hurt, move, or have another circumstance that falls under our policy. Refunds are based on how many times you did ski/ride and are pro-rated as such.
Lost Pass:
Q: What happens if I lose my pass?
A: We will provide you with a day ticket to continue skiing twice but a $50 replacement fee will be charged should you need to replace a lost pass.
Taxes & Fees
Q: Are there any additional taxes or fees on the Snowriver Pass products?
A: A resort fee of 5.5% will be added to all pass and ticket products.
Cancellation Policy
A: A Season Pass purchased during our early deadline sale can be canceled for any reason and refunded – less a 5% processing fee – prior to the start of our 2023/2024 season (Nov 12). After Nov 12 passes are non-refundable unless the Pass Protection Plan has been purchased.
