Frozen Frontier is a multi-day family festival that brings a wintery Wild West to the slopes of Snowriver Mountain Resort. Set against the rugged beauty of the U.P., this frontier-themed celebration blends skiing with hands-on family activities, western-style entertainment, and cozy gathering spots that invite guests to slow down and enjoy time together.

At the heart of the festival is a Saturday afternoon packed with interactive experiences, where kids can play pioneer for the day and parents can soak in the atmosphere of Snowriver’s Black River Basin.

Festival highlights include:

• Horse-Drawn Sleigh Rides (12–4 PM Saturday) – Glide through the snow on a horse-drawn sleigh ride
• Horse Meet & Greet – Say hello to the stars of the sleigh rides and snap a few photos
