Cashless Resort
At Snowriver we want you to have an effortless time with your friends and family. As of September 2023, all Midwest Family Ski Resorts including Granite Peak, Lutsen Mountains, and Snowriver Mountain Resort, have moved to cashless payments only.
At Snowriver Mountain Resort we have also gone to a no-tipping philosophy. All restaurant sales include a 16% service charge which enables us the opportunity to pay our staff a true living wage. Any additional cash tips are pooled amongst our service staff and are distributed evenly to those servicing our patrons.
Mobile Ordering
We encourage all guests to purchase their lift tickets, rental equipment, and lessons online in advance prior to arrival. Onsite QR codes are located throughout the property offering mobile ordering options for our ticket and rental services.
Onsite Purchases
Our team members are ready to assist you with onsite purchases at our ticket windows and food service outlets. Swipe or tap your payment with a credit or debit card or with your device's mobile wallet, or pay with a gift card or raincheck.
Wish to Carry Cash?
You may go to the following locations to purchase a gift card with cash from the reverse ATMs located in the Sugar Maple Chalet at Jackson Creek, the Lobby of the Jackson Creek Lodge, and at the Black River Basin base lodge. This gift card can then be used around the property in lieu of cash. Any monies left on the gift card will not expire and can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted.
