Seat Overview

The Content & Brand Coordinator is responsible for bringing the Midwest Family Ski Resorts brand to life through creative execution, organic social media, visual storytelling, and brand partnerships across all guest-facing channels. This role owns the day-to-day execution of creative production, organic social media, ambassador and influencer coordination, and brand consistency across all guest-facing marketing channels.

Working closely with Marketing Leadership, Digital Marketing, Website & Product Experience, Technology, resort operations, and external partners, this position transforms marketing strategy into polished, engaging, and authentic guest experiences that strengthen the MFSR brand and support organizational goals.

Seat Purpose

Bring the MFSR brand to life by producing creative assets, organic social content, and guest-facing marketing materials that are consistent, engaging, and aligned with established brand standards across all resorts and channels.

Core Accountabilities

  1. Creative Production & Graphic Design Execution: Coordinate and execute production-level creative work across digital, web, print, social, email, and guest-facing marketing materials using approved templates and brand standards. Maintain consistency in visual identity, formatting, typography, imagery usage, and overall creative presentation across all outputs.
  1. Brand Standards & Creative Quality Control: Ensure approved brand standards, messaging frameworks, and visual guidelines are consistently applied across marketing, communication, social, and guest-facing materials. Review creative outputs for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and execution readiness prior to launch or distribution.
  1. Social Media Execution & Community Support: Own day-to-day execution of organic social media across all resort channels by maintaining the social content calendar, publishing approved content, writing captions, ensuring accuracy of links, tags, and CTAs, engaging with audiences, responding to comments and direct messages, maintaining each resort's unique voice, and routing guest issues or operational concerns to the appropriate departments.
  1. Ambassador, Influencer & Agency Coordination: Manage day-to-day relationships with ambassadors, influencers, and external creative agencies by coordinating communications, deliverables, content collection, timelines, asset readiness, post-visit follow-up, and ongoing collaboration while identifying opportunities for future partnerships and hosted experiences.
  1. Creative Asset & Production System Management: Maintain templates, asset libraries, creative files, content libraries, production resources, and digital asset management systems to support efficient execution, content availability, brand consistency, and cross-team collaboration.
  1. Community Reporting & Execution Readiness Support: Maintain recurring social media and community engagement reporting while coordinating with Marketing Leadership, Website & Product Experience, Technology, Sales, Operations, and external partners to ensure guest-facing marketing materials, social content, and creative deliverables are accurate, aligned, and launch-ready.
  1. Brand Partnership Content Execution: Coordinate and produce co-branded marketing content with approved brand partners, ensuring deliverables align with MFSR brand standards, editorial voice, campaign objectives, and partner commitments.

Work Environment & Schedule Expectations

This is a primarily office-based position that supports marketing initiatives across multiple resort locations while maintaining a regular presence throughout resort operations.

The best work happens when marketing is immersed in the guest experience. Rather than operating solely from an office environment, team members are expected to spend time throughout the resorts capturing authentic content, supporting events, engaging with guests and partners, and identifying opportunities to showcase each property's unique personality.

Because marketing is closely tied to the guest experience, this role requires flexibility to support the seasonal and guest-driven nature of the ski resort industry. Regular weekend availability is an expected part of the position, as many of the most valuable marketing opportunities—including content creation, social media engagement, events, brand activations, ambassador visits, and guest storytelling—occur during weekends, holidays, and peak operating periods.

The schedule may also include occasional early mornings, evenings, and holidays to support resort events, campaign launches, weather-driven opportunities, and other time-sensitive marketing initiatives. Team members in this role are expected to provide execution coverage during peak marketing cycles, major initiatives, and planned or unplanned team absences to help maintain continuity across marketing operations.

Travel between Midwest Family Ski Resorts properties is expected as business needs require to support marketing initiatives, content creation, meetings, events, and cross-functional collaboration.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Regular in-person presence is required to support marketing initiatives, content creation, events, and collaboration across departments.
  • Ability to travel between Granite Peak, Lutsen Mountains, and Snowriver Mountain Resort as business needs require.
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions typical of a four-season resort operation.
  • Ability to walk throughout resort properties, including uneven terrain, stairs, ski villages, and event spaces.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport up to 25 pounds of marketing materials, promotional items, signage, photography equipment, or similar supplies.
  • Ability to participate in on-site marketing activities, events, photoshoots, ambassador visits, and other guest-facing initiatives.

Leveling & Growth

This role offers opportunities for professional growth as responsibilities, skills, and demonstrated performance expand. As experience, expertise, and demonstrated performance grow, opportunities may include managing more complex marketing initiatives, leading cross-functional projects, overseeing larger brand partnership portfolios, sharing knowledge and serving as a resource for teammates, or serving as a subject matter resource in areas such as creative production, social media, or brand execution.

Successful growth in this role is demonstrated through:

  • Consistently delivering high-quality creative work with minimal oversight.
  • Managing multiple marketing initiatives and competing priorities independently.
  • Building trusted relationships with ambassadors, influencers, agencies, and internal partners.
  • Improving marketing workflows, creative systems, and execution efficiency.
  • Taking ownership of increasingly complex projects while maintaining brand consistency and execution quality.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to improve guest engagement, content quality, and operational effectiveness.

Key Measurables

Success in this role is measured through the consistent execution of high-quality marketing initiatives and may include metrics such as:

  • Marketing deliverables completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Organic social content published according to approved calendars.
  • Brand standards maintained across guest-facing marketing materials.
  • Community engagement and response expectations consistently met.
  • Ambassador, influencer, and brand partnership deliverables completed on time.
  • Creative assets and marketing materials delivered launch-ready with minimal revisions.
  • Social media and community engagement reporting completed accurately and on schedule.
