Beginning summer 2023, Midwest Family Ski Resorts Properties will no longer accept cash as a form of payment. Cash may still be used as a form of gratuity, and non-MFSR-owned vendors may still accept cash.
For guests who do not have non-cash forms of payment when they arrive at Snowriver Mountain Resort, reverse ATMs that dispense Mastercard gift cards are available at the following locations:
- Jackson Creek Guest Services Desk in the Sugar Maple Chalet
- The Lodge at Jackson Creek Entrance
- Black River Basin Ticket Counter in the Black River Chalet
Lift Ticket Policies
ONLINE TICKET RESERVATIONS
Online Lift Tickets must be purchased at least 48 hours in advance to qualify for advance rates. Lift tickets are date-specific and cannot be transferred to another date. Online orders are due in full at the time of purchase.
ONLINE TICKET CANCELLATIONS
Lift tickets and rentals are issued for a specific start date upon time of purchase and are non-refundable. If you are unable to use items within your order this season, the value paid for the unused products can be applied as a credit to your snowriver.com online account. Account credits for unredeemed lift tickets and rentals must be requested by calling Snowriver Mountain Resort no later than April 30, 2024. Partial use of lift tickets and rentals are eligible for fractional credit per our Return Skier Visit Program.
All discounts and packages must be purchased at least 48 hours in advance. Online rates are not available at the ticket windows.

If taking a lesson, plan to be onsite 60-90 minutes prior to your scheduled lesson time. We ask only one person in your party to enter the line to minimize congestion.
ONLINE CUSTOMER CREDIT POLICY
A credit only holds the value of the product they are issued for. If a credit is used to purchase a product at a lower price, the credit will hold the remaining balance for future use within the time frame the credit is valid. If the credit is used to purchase a product at a higher price, the customer will need to pay the difference in value. Credits may only be used to purchase packages, lessons, lift tickets, and/or rentals. Credits may NOT be used for events, food & beverage, tuning, or retail purchases.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
A new waiver of liability is required each season for every guest. Waivers can be filled out anytime and will attach to your guest record on your first visit of the season. Each person on your order must have a completed waiver prior to entering the ticket line.
