Scenic chairlift rides

Take your summer to new heights. Unwind after a day of adventure with free scenic chairlift rides on the Voyageur Express from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM daily from May 23rd to August 31st. Glide above unspoiled wilderness, rolling ridgelines, and rugged terrain that define the Upper Peninsula’s natural beauty.

Gabbro Falls

Tucked into our Black River Basin property, Gabbro Falls is a must-see natural wonder just steps from the road. Surrounded by granite cliffs and lush forest, this cascading waterfall offers incredible photo ops, a refreshing plunge pool for swimming, and opportunities to fish for trout and salmon in clear, cool waters.

EQUESTRIAN ACCESS

Unique adventures at Snowriver

The Resort offers a one-of-a-kind equestrian experience with miles of scenic, onsite trails leading to mountaintop vistas, stream crossings, and waterfall overlooks. Guests can board their horses in indoor or outdoor 12x12 pens, with access to open pasture, water, and convenient trailer parking—making it easy to explore the Northwoods on horseback. From September 18 - October 31, 2025 bundle lodging with a trail experience.

The Main Lodge

Our main lodge sits at the highest point of the resort, just steps from the slopes. Every room has been fully renovated with modern mountain finishes, new furnishings, and updated bathrooms. With two on-site restaurants, two bars, and easy access to the pool, sauna, and hot tub, The Lodge offers the perfect mix of comfort and convenience after a day on the mountain.

Jackson Studios

Located just across from The Main Lodge, the Jackson Creek Studios feature remodeled hotel- and studio-style rooms overlooking the valley.
